Day of Giving 2013: Thursday, October 3
What does opera mean to you? Is it the thrill of anticipation as the curtain goes up, the familiar tune of an aria that stirs your soul, or the romantic stories that linger long after the applause has ceased?
You can celebrate what opera means to you by making a gift through the Pittsburgh Day of Giving 2013, held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 12:00 a.m. ET until 11:59:59 p.m. ET. This extraordinary program, a resource of the Pittsburgh Foundation, allows you to increase the impact of your contribution to Opera Theater with a prorated match.
Prorated Match: The Foundation will divide a total of $750,000 (provided by The Pittsburgh Foundation, The Jack G. Buncher Charitable Fund, The Colcom Foundation, and The Robert Waters Fund) among the participating Allegheny County nonprofits.
Gift Amount: The minimum gift is $25, and there is no limit to the amount of money you may contribute. All donations are for operating support; you cannot designate a specific program. Please note that only the first $1,000 is eligible to receive a portion of the match pool.
Credit Cards: Only Visa and MasterCard will be accepted. Unfortunately, credit card gift cards, American Express, and Discover will not be accepted.
Your Receipt: You will receive an email receipt of your gift; please retain it for tax purposes. If you do not receive an email receipt, your gift was not completed, please contact the Foundation within 24 hours of October 3rdto verify your gift.
Timing of Donation: Opera Theater will receive your donation, net of the 2.9% credit card fee plus The Pittsburgh Foundation’s prorated match, within 45 days of the event.
We thank you for your contribution—your generosity and support is greatly appreciated!
