SummerFest Recital Series

SummerFest artists step out in five concerts showcasing the scope and talent that makes our season an annual treasure. Our stellar series showcases the vocal talents of SummerFest company and guest artists, alike, as they perform music from Baroque to Modern. The recital series features former Mildred Miller International Voice Competition winner and current Met superstar Andrey Nemzer, and the incredibly talented and versatile faculty of the Young Artist Program, including Robert Frankenberry, Raymond Blackwell, Demareus Cooper, Dimitrie Lazich, and Anna Singer.

Rising stars also shine with the SummerFest Europe Voice Competition Winners, coming from as far as Spain and Belgium to enchant Pittsburgh audiences. SummerFest also commemorates the work and talent of founder Mildred Miller Posvar. A Richard Strauss Celebration caps the series with a nod to the composer's 150th birthday.
