Join us on October 29th and 30th for the sixth annual Mildred Miller International Voice Competition as we search for America's best singers. Young professionals aged 18–32 compete for cash prizes and solo roles in SummerFest 2017.

 

 

Semi-Final Round

Final Round and VIP Party

General admission tickets on Sunday include the finals round and presentation of prizes. Please also join us for a private reception with Mildred Miller Posvar and the winners immediately following the competition in a special location we can't reveal just yet!

Reception

Enjoy an intimate reception with Opera Theater founder Mildred Miller Posvar and the competition winners in a lovely historic home immediately following the presentation of prizes. A VIP ticket for $125 provides priority seating for the competition as well as the private reception. The address for the reception will be sent to ticket holders.

Prizes

Three prizes will be awarded

  • First Prize, plus an optional SummerFest contract
  • Second Prize, plus an optional SummerFest contract
  • Third Prize, plus an optional SummerFest contract

Winners from previous years, including Andrey Nemzer, Juan José de León, and Shannon Kessler Dooley, have recently appeared in roles with the Metropolitan Opera. What talented singer will follow them this year?

The Mildred Miller International Voice Competition is part of OPERA America's National Opera Week.
